General Membership Information

Membership processing for GASFAA is now open!! And, we are excited to announce a NEW membership process is available for you.  Memberships will now be processed by Institution, not individual staff member. This change will allow your full staff to take advantage of all GASFAA has to offer and received the membership price for workshops and conference events. Please read below for the “NEW” Membership Policy and apply online today!

The Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (GASFAA) would like to invite ALL institutions to become a member of this statewide professional organization. GASFAA consists of 650 individuals from over 120 institutions.

Below is the membership pricing for Institutions, Partners, and Associate Members for the 2017-18 Academic Year

Institutional Membership: Membership is based on the full-time enrollment reported to The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System. Institutional membership and the cost will be as follows:

Enrollment Tier Cost
Tier 1 - 1000 or less students $100
Tier 2 - 1,000 to 7,500 students $200
Tier 3 - 7500+ students $300

Institutional membership will allow all staff members to take advantage of training and leadership opportunities provided by GASFAA!

Partner Members: Partner Members are entities that work with post-secondary institutions such as lenders, servicers, state agencies, and vendor/sponsors. Membership cost: $150

Associate Members: An individual person not employed by an institution, lender, servicer, state agency or vendor/sponsor. Associate membership cost: $100

These costs represent annual amounts that will be established by the Executive Board each year. There will be no limit to the number of members attached to each institution. A primary representative will need to be established for each institution.

If an institution decides not to join GASFAA, there will always be a non-membership fee available for conferences and/or workshops.
