The Community Action Committee is committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment within the GASFAA community where all members feel valued and heard. The committee promotes engagement, awareness, and meaningful connections by encouraging open dialogue and collaboration across the organization.

Through outreach and service initiatives, the committee also supports efforts that give back to our communities. A highlight each year is the committee supporting the Silent Auction held during the annual conference, which raises funds to support community-focused initiatives and President’s Memorial Scholarship.

For the 2025–2026 year, the Community Action Initiative will focus on supporting Food Pantries, helping address food insecurity among students and families. Through member participation, fundraising, and awareness, the committee works to make a positive impact across the communities we serve.
